Purple.

I love purple. It's one of my favourite colours.

Used to be my favourite colour, but I had to cut back. Everything I owned was purple, and I was starting to look a little crazy...

Unsurprisingly, good use of this colour can make a photo for me.

So now I share with you some purple wonders. All excellent photos regardless of the prominent colour in them.

I'm embracing the more friendly look of my blog by adding a personal post.

So here's me in five things... (all photos taken by me, just for you lovely people.)

1. Jewellery

I love jewellery. And being a very tidy organised and tidy person, it's no surprise that I love my jewellery box.

2. Diary

I keep a diary, and I have done so for almost eight years. I write in it every day, without fail.

3. Camera

Kind of goes without saying, really....

4. Teddy

Loved Teddy since I was born. Still love her now. Slightly embarassing? Maybe. Do I care? No. :)

5. Cat

She's old. She's grumpy. And enjoys peeing on my clothes. But I can't help it, I love her to bits.

 Thought this was a nice way to start a new era for my blog.

Maybe I'll make this a regular thing...

Wordpress is an excellent platform, as long as you know how to use. Which I do not...

So after much umming and erring, I bit the bullet and changed.

I'm loving it so far. I actually understand Blogger!

Blogger feels so much more friendly and personal.

How could I not do a post inspired by yesterday?

Valentines Day!

Not really a fan of Valentines Day. The whole concept feels a bit fake and forced to me.

Why limit romantic gestures to only one day a year?

I'll recognise it, but not make a big fuss over it.

So I went through my inspiration folder on my laptop, and didn't really find much in the way of love.

I'll give you what I've got...

Photo Booth.

You rarely get to see celebrities being themselves.

Most of the time their acting, playing another character, putting on a front for the media or adopting another persona for a photoshoot.

This is why I love Yu Tsai's photo booth style sessions with celebrities.

Looking at them, you really get an insight into the subjects personality. Seeing them in a completely new way.

The photo booth style session next to a single enlarged portrait is a beautiful pairing.
