Lord Mayor's Show 2010.

Going to the Lord Mayor's Show is something my family's done ever since I was a baby.

I went with my mum and boyfriend, and my brother was in the parade.

We took up our usual spot outisde Mansion House - a prime spot as it's where the afternoon prosession finishes.

Naturally, I took loads of photos. Documentary photography isn't really my forte, but I took a stab at it.

Here's my best from the day...

Let me know what you think! :P

Music.

I think music videos are a fantastic source of inspiration.

Most these days are more like short films.

Here's some I'm loving at the moment...

Rihanna - Only Girl

Taylor Swift - Mine

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream

Vampire Weekend - Giving Up The Gun

I could watch these all day. Hope you enjoy them too. :)

Kaleidoscope.

I will never get bored of the kaleidoscope effect.

Especially when it's done this well.

Marina Diamandis, from Marina and the Diamonds, shot by Tokion for Factory.

Perry.

I absolutely adore Katy Perry.

People always tell me she's over the top/loud/can't sing/fake/whatever. But I don't care.

I love her. She's fun and not afraid to be herself.

And it just so happens that I have some lovely photos of her for you to feast your eyes on...

I anticipate many future Katy Perry orientated posts.

Especially as I'm seeing her live in March 2011. Excited!

Stone.

Another recent and beautiful magazine spread I've come across.

Emma Stone in Wonderland Issue 23, photographed by Danielle Levitt.

Here's my favourite two...

And to continue with the Emma Stone love, I saw her latest film Easy A.

Here's the trailer.

A must see if you're into teen high school comedies. Which I am! :D

It's Been a While...

Don't worry, I'll make it up to you. I've got lots of pretty pictures to post.

I must insist that you go out and buy the December 2010 issue of Vogue UK right now. It's bursting with amazing photos.

One story that particularly caught my eye was Seeing Stars by Lachlan Bailey. I've always had a soft spot for extravagant make up.

Here's some of the photos...

Lovely stuff. And there's more where that came from.
